Papa Françesk drejtoi të dielën në Vatikan meshën e shenjtërimit të bamirëses së njohur me origjinë shqiptare, Nënë Tereza, e cila tashmë do të njihet si Shën Tereza e Kalkutës.
Mijëra pelegrinë mbushën sheshin Shën Pjetër të Vatikanit të dielën për të qenë të pranishëm në meshën e shenjtërimit të bamirëses Nënë Tereza. Duke drejtuar meshën, Papa Françesk e vlerësoi murgeshën trupvogël për kujdesin e treguar ndaj më të padëshiruarve të shoqërisë dhe tha se me shembullin e saj, ajo ka turpëruar liderët botërorë “për krimet e varfërisë që ata vetë kanë krijuar”.
